CombiSport is a South African manufacturing  company based in Westmead, Kwa Zulu Natal.  This SME specializes in the manufacture of Development Sports Equipment out of high-impact PVC that complies with the following criteria:

Combi-Sport has been operating since 1993, and the business has managed to sustain itself over the years through astute management of its operations, aggressive marketing and sound accounting and business principles.  The company has been assessed and evaluated by the DTI as an SME.  Combi-Sport and the DTI have set business milestones for Combi-Sport to reach on an annual basis and based on achievement of these milestones Combi-Sport has been receiving development funding from the DTI over the past few years.

Combi-Sport has the advantage of back up and support from its sister company, Plasmould which is an injection molding company.  This backward integration allows Combi-Sport to control the quality and delivery of the sub components used in our exciting products

Combi-Sport is equipped to develop any new products which can be customized according to customer specifications.  Our development capability and short tooling lead times, combined with competitive tooling costs have made us a preferred supplier to our local and international clients.

PAST AND CURRENT CLIENT BASE

Combi-Sport has been the sole supplier of Development Sports equipment to the Department of Sport and Recreation’s Sangala Games project.  The project was administered by RECSA (Recreation SA) who supply underprivileged communities with sport equipment and supply the coaches to hone their skills.  Shelters, Youth and Women Prisons also benefited from this programme.

THE DIRECTOR

Brian Almanza has been with CombiSport since inception.  Brian has 23 years of collective experience in the tool & dye design, manufacturing environment.  He can design and manufacture moulds according to client specifications.  Brian’s technical expertise and know how has lead to the company growing from strength to strength over the years.
